Saturday 15th June, 12 noon – 4pm
How lovely is a well-tended English garden? With roses and bees, and flowers from near and far; with sparrows chip-chirping, and the summer Swifts screeching past.
Come and see for yourselves – for one afternoon only you can get access to some of the loveliest examples of quintessentially English gardens, in a quintessentially English village, right on the border of England’s garden county.
There are seven gardens open, including our very own beautiful pub garden at the Salehurst Halt. All are within Salehurst, but a couple are a little walk up Beech House Lane. You will get to see some small, intimate cottage gardens and some large, landscaped beauties.
Our church, St Mary’s, will be open all day and it too is well worth a visit if you’ve not yet had the chance; there will be tea and cake on offer, as well as flower displays and a plant sale.
The pub too is open, not just the garden, serving sumptuous lunches, real ales, a lovely selection of wines and a whole array of other beverages.
We very much hope you can get along and enjoy a Saturday afternoon in our beautiful little village.
Tickets available at Floral Boutique and Belle Flowers in Robertsbridge.
