On Friday 1st August we are hosting a Murder Mystery Evening – join us over dinner to see if you can solve the mystery, and maybe even win a prize.
Our fabulous new sous chef has devised a cunning menu to complement the evening, and we know this will be a wonderful event.
Jake’s Murder Mystery Menu:

STARTERS – “First Clues”
1. “The Last Supper” Duck Liver Parfait
Duck liver parfait, black cherry gel, toasted brioche, crispy shallots
2. “Bloody Beetroot” Tartare (v)
Heritage beetroot, horseradish cream, pickled shallot, rye crumb
3. “Smoked Alibi” Mackerel
Oak-smoked mackerel fillet, burnt lemon, horseradish crème fraîche, fennel salad

1. “The Butcher’s Cut” Beef Short Rib
12-hour braised beef short rib, bone marrow mash, port wine jus, charred shallots
2. “No Witness” Roasted Cod
Fillet of cod, black garlic purée, samphire, crushed new potatoes, lemon butter sauce
3. “The Red Herring” Wild Mushroom Wellington (v)
Wild mushrooms and spinach in puff pastry, celeriac purée,truffle jus
