Happy New Year to one and all!
If you had a wonderful festive break but think you overdid it a little, maybe you’ve decided to try Dry January. If so, good on you, we wish you luck. Doing Dry January can be beneficial in a lot of ways, and the majority who give it a go are pleased to have completed this long month and come out the other side feeling healthier and a few pounds lighter.
Having an Arid start to the New Year doesn’t mean that you also have to give up going to the pub. Why would you miss out on some scrumptious food, great company, a warm welcome as you step through the door and a comforting log burner fire to warm your cockles, just because you’re off the sauce?
Here at The Salehurst Halt we stock a range of non-alcoholic and low alcohol alternatives all year round. Being a Sussex country pub we have a lot of customers who drive to visit us, and so we ensure we try and cater for all.
So we salute you, you non-drinking people, and we welcome you to the Halt still – come and try our amazing Sunday roasts. Make up for the lack of wine by choosing one of our utterly delicious puddings. Pop in for a warming bowl of soup. Or just come in for a catch up with your fellow locals and our wonderful team behind the bar.
And remember – January may be a long month – but it is just that – only a month.
