That’s 2025 almost done – and what a year it’s been!
It’s been another amazing year here at the Salehurst Halt, thank you to everyone who has been part of it.
We started the year with Jimbo’s January quiz – and ended it with Jimbo’s Christmas quiz – and all those in between. Fabulous, fun filled evenings, all of them sell out occasions.
Our Valentine’s Day Menu was out of this world, we welcomed a new sous chef, there was the regular weekly art class held most often upstairs in our function room, but sometimes out on the terrace, and professional writers workshops held in the function room on several occasions throughout the year.
Open mic nights on the terrace ran all summer and were immensely popular – so wonderful to have a garden full of talented musicians singing as the sun sets over the valley.
We moved the door – twice!
Soap Box Derby – the craziest day in Salehurst by far….a new pizza oven (we lost count of how many pizzas we cooked), and a really busy summer…..
Our kitchen team have come up with some truly wonderful dishes for the menu, the bar team have provided beautiful beers, cocktails and wines, our gardens have been well tended, and the entire team have worked together to make you all feel as welcome as possible.
To everyone who has popped in to see us this year, we thank you for your custom. It is you, our valued clientele, who help make the Halt the place to be, and we love to see you all. There’s still time to pop in this year, but if we don’t get to see you Happy New Year!
