Salehurst Art Studio
In addition to the bar area and our wonderful garden, did you know that we have a function room at the Salehurst Halt?
Our local art group meet here every Tuesday evening to get creative in a welcoming and friendly space, producing some lovely pieces of art work.
The Salehurst Studio is an open session for anyone who is looking for a weekly space to be arty. They meet every Tuesday in our upstairs function room from 7 to 9 pm, free of charge. Both novice, aspiring artists and the more experienced artists are welcome. Materials are provided or you are welcome to bring your own. The art club are under the banner of the Robertsbridge Arts Partnership.
If you are looking at getting more arty in 2024 then why not pop in and meet the lovely folks upstairs at the Halt? Most participants buy a drink from the bar to take upstairs with them – but fear not; if you are doing dry January we have a great range of non-alcoholic beers and spirits, as well as your usual soft drinks, teas and coffees. We can also provide food if you’re feeling particularly peckish.

As the art club meet in our upstairs room, if art is NOT your thing you can still come along to the Halt on a Tuesday evening and enjoy a drink and/or a meal.
