This is no ordinary pub …. alongside our ‘normal’ opening times, we often run special events, themed evenings and parties.
In the words of John Lydgate (and later adapted by Abraham Lincoln), “You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time.”
We know that some of you get disappointed if you want to book a lunch or dinner date and you find that we are hosting an event; but equally, our parties and themed nights are ever so popular and usually sell out very quickly.

We send out the latest news every other Saturday – and we’ve just made it even easier for you to sign up.
