Half term is upon us and we are looking forward to seeing you all.
Dare we say that the weather looks OK for this half term? If it manages to stay dry, how lovely to get out and about with the children and the dogs – the fields may still be sloshing in mud, but there are signs of spring all around us. Our church yard here in Salehurst is blanketed in the most beautiful snowdrops and the primroses are beginning to poke through.
After a bracing walk with the young ones, why not pop in and join us for lunch or dinner? We always have a dedicated children’s menu, and if there are items on our main menu that your little one fancies we can often adapt to meet their requirements.
If you are looking for a family friendly, dog friendly, traditional Sussex country pub, you’ve just found one. We have a warming log burner, and a garden if the sun keeps shining for you to enjoy. We have a few games and some colouring, as well as food and drink options for both children and adults – there are water bowls for the dogs and dog biscuits behind the bar for those who are allowed them.
