What a spectacular 35th anniversary Bonfire party Robertsbridge Bonfire Society laid on for us all on Saturday night. Despite the pouring rain, the atmosphere was electric, the procession inspiring, the bonfire warming, and the fireworks – spectacular! Thank you so much to all who made this happen, we are so proud to be part of such a vibrant community.
With Bonfire Night over and done, and the nights drawing in, we’ve decided to change our door.
We don’t do this to confuse you, honestly we don’t; it is for purely practical reasons – in those lovely, warm summer months a breeze through from the front door on the lane to the terrace at the rear is most welcomed and refreshing – less so once the winter arrives. And so the front door has moved to the side again, to enable a snug pub.
