Lady At The Halt

The Lady of Charmat at The Halt

Have you tried our gorgeous dry sparkling rosé, The Lady of Charmat?

You may have your doubts about English wine, but we think we can put those doubts to rest. We think this because we’ve managed to help a huge amount of our customers to think twice about English wine by offering them one of our resident wines. On the whole, those who have tried have loved…

And none more so than The Lady of Charmat.

This multi-vintage sparkling brut rosé is made from grapes grown at our very own vineyard, Off The Line – and it is a really lovely glass of fizz.

The name derives from a technique for producing sparkling wine, the Charmat method, which enables the preservation of the fresh, fruity flavours of the grapes. Sipping a glass of this on our wonderful terrace, watching the sun go down as the swallows fly above in the early evening… a perfect, quintessentially English end to a summer’s day in beautiful Sussex….

If you enjoy a glass of prosecco, then why not try a glass of The Lady of Charmat – those who already have would highly recommend….
