New Year Charity Update
Several week’s after seeing in the New Year in style at the Salehurst Halt, we thought you may like to know how they guys we are sponsoring, and who you helped by buying your New Year’s Eve tickets, are getting on.
Dom and Matt are training hard for the London Marathon – they have set themselves a target of reaching £8000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Matching the hard work they are putting their trainers through, they are doing tremendously well in raising their funds – but they haven’t crossed the finish line.
Dom and Matt have chosen the Cystic Fibrosis Trust to raise much needed funds for as their friends’ daughter, Poppy, was born with this disease. When they heard first hand from Poppy’s parents about the phenomenal costs of Cystic Fibrosis research, subsequent treatment and the day to day implications for Poppy living with the disease, they decided to do something proactive to help.
We are 100% behind Dom and Matt and want to help Poppy and every other person, and their families, living with this disease, which is why we donated half of your New Year’s Eve ticket price directly to this campaign.
