The pessimists are wondering how the men’s football team have made it to the semi-finals – could they go on, beat Argentina, and be playing live in the Salehurst Halt on Sunday 19th July?
Whether they get through to the final or not, we will be having a party at the Halt.
We have the absolutely fabulous Princess and the Peas playing live on the terrace; come join us for a drink and a sing-song in our fabulous garden, followed by a rip-roaring World Cup final. What a way to end the week.
We are also taking bookings for Sunday lunch that day – we do two sittings on a Sunday, 12 and 2.30, so if you want to fill up on one of our splendid Sunday roasts before all the evening shenanigans, give us a call or pop in to secure your table.
