Celebrate National Burger Day at the Salehurst Halt
August 22nd marks National Burger Day 2024 (not to be confused with National Hamburger Day, which is the equivalent celebration, but in the USA and happened back in May).
Our burgers at the Salehurst Halt are locally renowned for being some of the best burgers you can get anywhere – homemade, sumptuous patties, sandwiched in beautifully soft baps with a whole host of accompaniments – if you’re partial to a burger, we probably have the burger for you.
From The Lot burger, with it’s cheese, bacon, and bacon ‘jam’, to our General, with chorizo and Manchego, our Cheeky Cypriot with grilled halloumi, our Cluck (chicken burger) that one customer told us just last week was the BEST chicken burger he had ever eaten (!), through to our Mountain Mover – a burger suitable for vegetarians and vegans – we have beautiful burgers for all.
We won’t just be serving burgers on the 22nd – we will still have other tasty options for those of you who don’t fancy one. But if you DO want to come join us for something truly scrummy to eat, we recommend you book in advance, just to ensure you get a great table to go along with your great food.
