The Salehurst Halt garden is officially open. To be honest, it’s never really closed, but during the colder months we try and keep the patio doors locked to keep the warmth in and only the hardiest of visitors brave the outside.
As the weather has improved, we’ve been able to offer diners a table on our gorgeous garden terrace. This weekend in particular it has been fully booked with our guests enjoying our sumptuous food with a backdrop over the rother valley with the heady scent of the beautiful flowering wisteria.
We can take reservations for the terrace if you are dining with us, just let us know you would like this when you book. There are also tables on the lower part of our garden in the grassy area, perfect for the youngsters to run around and let off steam. And, of course, there is also the table tennis in the corner for both young and young at heart.
We are very lucky to have a passionate gardener looking after the Halt garden, so do come see what delights she has planted around the beds, borders and in the pots.
Enjoy a pint, a glass of our own fabulous rosé wine, a gin and tonic or a soft drink of your choice and watch the sun set over the trees in what must be one of the most lovely pub gardens in Sussex.
