The Salehurst Halt Christmas menu is being phased in from this week as the locally sourced produce we use as much as possible in all of our dishes is becoming available from our suppliers.
We have SO many parties booked with us – some of the smaller groups are being seated on our tables in the bar area, and the larger Christmas parties are taking advantage of our private function room.
Spaces are filling up quickly – hardly surprising when you know what sumptuous, mouthwatering morsels are available for your delectation. If you haven’t already booked, we highly recommend you get in touch with us ASAP to ensure you too get to sample the wonders cooked up by Ogi, Harvey and the wonderful team we have working in our kitchen.
Starters include lobster and shellfish bisque for the fish lovers, Stilton Beignets for the turophiles, and a vegan offering; our mains had to include turkey – it’s traditional Christmas Fayre – but we also know how much you love our Jamaican style goat curry, and we have duck, venison and another vegan option that is so tasty.
The puddings are always, always wonderful no matter what time of the year. Our very own Claire handmakes them and the team are sometimes lucky enough to be used as guinea pigs to sample any new recipes, so if you’re after recommendations rest assured, those serving you will have their favourites.
