We’re bringing you something a little different on the pumps at the Salehurst Halt this summer…
Introducing Lonkero – the refreshingly long drink of Finnish origin that is served in a pint size glass direct from the beer taps.
But this is not a beer – oh no. It’s a perfect summer drink to enjoy on our fabulous terrace, topped with ice and a slice of grapefruit.
We launched Lonkero on Friday night and had already gone through out first barrel by Saturday. Made from gin, grapefruit and soda water, and at 4.7% alcohol, this is a lovely zesty drink to sit and savour.
Why not pop along to the Halt and try a glass? We are happy to offer you a little taster if you’re unsure, but we hope you’ll agree with most who have tried it – this is a really enjoyable tasting experience.
