Quiz night is back.
And you have just four days to get your revision done.
Last week we posed you this riddle over on our Facebook page (and we did enjoy reading the replies).
“I climb up high with nails and beams,
Building roofs where sunlight gleams.
I patch the gaps where rain may pour,
But when I’m down, I run the score.
In a pub, I quiz and cheer,
And make sure answers are crystal clear.
Who am I, with hands so skilled,
And a mind that loves a quiz to build.”
We still have a couple of tables left for this week’s quiz, and we have some new and testing ideas on rounds – including having our Harvey in the kitchen. What could he be cooking up that relates to the quiz? The best way to find out is to get in there quick and secure your team a place.
The Thursday quiz is a great evening; some of us laugh more than we get questions right, but that’s the point, to have a great evening out in your local sharing time with other members of your community.
Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible, be that for this event or for any other reason to pop in and say hi.
