Here at the Salehurst Halt we do our best to cater to our customer’s needs. We are aware that there are certain types of food and drink that some people can’t, or don’t want or like to consume and where possible, we provide alternatives.
Our Sunday roasts are legendary – and we always put a vegan option on the menu. But what about our drinks?
If you like a rosé wine and you are vegan, you are in luck. All of our rosé comes from Off The Line Vineyard, and all of it is vegan.
Off The Line are striving towards being as sustainable as possible, with their ‘bio bubble’, their concerted efforts to recycle as much as they can, through to using locally sourced ingredients and ‘green’ farming techniques. The result? Some very drinkable wines that are going down really well with our customers.
Why not come and sample some yourself? We have the sparkling Lady of Charmat, the beautifully pale and dry Hip Rosé, Dancing Dog and Dog Rosé. Of course, other wines are available, reds, whites and sparkling but we are particularly proud of our rosé wines.
We do ask that if you have any allergies or food intolerances you let us know, preferably when booking, but certainly before ordering.
