Mondays are a quiet day in Salehurst; no Church Bells chiming, just the chirping of the birds and the distant baying of cattle….
Unless it’s a bank holiday Monday.
The Salehurst Halt is closed on a Monday, but not today – we are open every bank holiday, ready to welcome you with our friendly front of house team, our fabulous range of real ales, lagers, bottled drinks and our new, exciting wine list.
The kitchen is open from 12 until 3, the bar until 6.
Why not combine a Bank Holiday walk with a pint at the Halt? Or (we are told this rain will clear by opening time….), come sit on our terrace and take in the views across to the woods, along the valley and enjoy our beautiful garden.
Be it for a full lunch, a smaller bite to eat, a fabulous sweet treat, or just a quick bevvy, we look forward to seeing you today at the Halt.
