As summer departs we say farewell once again to Pizza Night at the Halt. It is synonymous with the changing of the seasons; the evenings have got cooler, the days are getting shorter, the children are back at school – and we fire up the pizza over for a Pizza Finale night here at the Salehurst Halt.
It has been a fantastic summer here in Salehurst – the warmest and dryest on record – meaning we have handmade, cooked and served a record number of our mouth-watering pizzas; but, it being an outdoor pizza over, and this being England, we had to make the call to end the pizza season before the weather sets in.
Friday nights are always really busy, but when you have handmade, hand-fired pizza served on our gorgeous, grape-laden terrace they are even more so, and hence we highly recommend you book beforehand.
We haven’t had to miss a single pizza night this year due to our glorious summer – however, pizza nights are always weather dependant. At the time of writing, the weather looks fine to celebrate Pizza Finale night so fingers crossed we can go out in style.
