From everybody here at the Salehurst Halt, we would like to thank you all for being such wonderful customers.

We are open from 12pm – 2pm on Christmas day to share a drink or two with our faithful locals and anyone else in the area.

What better excuse to come along with your friends and family and get your Christmas celebrations off to a flying start.

Christmas is coming, and our tables are getting booked up. We are getting daily enquiries about availability for our Christmas menu, for our New Year’s Eve party

The Salehurst Halt Christmas menu is being phased in from this week as the locally sourced produce we use as much as possible in all of our dishes is becoming available from our suppliers.

Choosing to join us for New Year’s Eve means that you will have a fabulous party, a ‘proper’ send off to 2023 and a memorable welcome to 2024; AND you get to help a really fantastic charity.

James and our very own Harvey have worked closely to bring you lovely people the best of James’ expertise and Harvey’s passion, and are doing a one-off, five course tasting menu.

The Chefs here at the Halt have been inspired to create some sumptuous recipe ideas from the mushrooms that Basil’s Fungi Farm are producing, including the amazing Chanterelle Mushroom Katsu Curry

We love a party here at the Halt and we have events planned to see us right through until 2024. There are quiz nights, live music and a proper New Year’s Eve celebration.

What can you expect if you pop into the Salehurst Halt on Halloween. Or on All Saints Day (November 1st)? Or at any other time this coming week?

Being a community pub is so much more than a certificate and an award – for us here at the Halt it means that our customers are welcomed like guests.

It is with our upmost pleasure that we can share some really great news with you about all our latest accolades at the Salehurst Halt.

Where Have The Halt Grapes Gone? The Halt Vintage Sparkling wine won’t be available for a while, but watch this space to find out the launch date.

We know we’re biased, but we feel this year’s menu is even better than our previous ones and cannot wait for you to pop in and sample the festive delights.

We all need to be on the internet these days, and therefore here at the Salehurst Halt we have decided we need to add a blog; a news article; a weekly catch up letting you know what is happening in the pub.
