On Saturday 25th May we are having a party here at the Halt. It’s (almost) summer, the sun is (might be) shining…

Each summer we bring you our ever-so tasty homemade pizzas, made to order and cooked in our outdoor kitchen.

Monday 6th May we are open from 12 until 6pm, with food available from the kitchen between 12 and 3pm.

Last week, Harvey created a delicious dish that you would be more likely find in a top Italian restaurant than in a village pub

Using local suppliers wherever possible, all of our chefs are passionate about the food that they cook for you.

Owen may be a hard act to follow, but with over 20 years of hands-on experience, we are confident Alicja will bring another level of wonderful to the Halt garden.

The team at the Halt work together, and play together. You get the smiles and the service you rightly deserve because we have a team who love what they do.

We are open today, Easter Monday between 12 and 6pm, with food being served up until 3.30.

We are open over the Easter weekend – yes, all the Easter weekend, including Easter Monday. And, it being a ‘holiday’ we are, naturally, in the party spirit.

The Salehurst Halt is looking to expand their team who work behind the bar. Must be 18 or over, friendly and approachable.

We are lucky enough to have a wonderful garden here at the Halt; we get lovely comments from people when they visit and have and some great reviews.

We are Marching Fifth Off Friday onward – every Friday in March, between 4pm and 6pm, you can get yourself 20% off ALL drinks and burgers. 

With a combination of an exciting menu, a wide range of drinks and wonderful team members welcoming you through the door, we do recommend that you book a table.

Several week’s after seeing in the New Year in style at the Salehurst Halt, we thought you may like to know how they guys we are sponsoring are getting on.

If your plan is to really spoil your mum with a wonderful Sunday Lunch is a traditional English village pub located in the beautiful Sussex countryside – you better be quick.

We have added a fine pale ale to our selection of wonderful beers on tap. An ale that not only tastes splendid, buying a pint is also beneficial for the community.
